Leave Nairobi at 06:00 and pause at the Rift Valley viewpoint before entering Lake Nakuru. After lunch at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, search the fever-tree forest and lakeshore for rhino, lion and flamingo on a full afternoon game drive. Dinner is served at 19:30.

Rise for a 06:30 game drive while the bush is cool and predators are active. Enjoy breakfast in the wilderness, track the Big Five across riverlines and acacia plains, then return for lunch. At 15:30, set out again as the light softens.
