The invitation

Tsavo is called the Theatre of the Wild. You will understand why on the first morning.

Dust-red elephants wallowing in the palm-shaded Galana. The 300-kilometre Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow on earth. Kenya's largest protected wilderness, nine times the size of the Maasai Mara — lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, hippo, lesser kudu, gerenuk and five hundred recorded bird species. You travel it privately: one vehicle, one guide, no strangers.

What you'll see

The cast of Tsavo East

Red elephants, cheetah coalitions, great herds of buffalo — photographed in the very park you'll be driving through on day one.
